Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about what IZCHI does today — including the parts that are not built yet. 16 questions, grouped by topic.

How it works

What does IZCHI actually do?
You search for a product and IZCHI shows the real offers it can confirm from connected retailers, each labelled with the retailer it came from. You can buy straight away at the retailer, or set the price you would actually pay. A target belongs to the product rather than one store: IZCHI checks every connected retailer and tells you which one reached your price first.
Do I need an account to use it?
Yes, a free account. Searching live listings, opening product pages and comparing retailer offers all need you to be signed in. The legal pages, pricing and this FAQ stay open to everyone.
Does IZCHI sell the products it finds?
No. IZCHI compares and tracks prices; it is not a store. Every Buy Now button links out to the retailer, and the purchase and payment happen there under that retailer’s terms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay or any other retailer — see our marketplace disclosures.

Alerts & monitoring

Will IZCHI notify me automatically when a price drops?
Yes. IZCHI checks every tracked listing on a schedule. When one reaches your target we write a notification to your dashboard and send an email from alerts@notify.izchiapp.com. Repeat alerts for the same unchanged condition are suppressed, so one match means one alert.
Can I see price history for a product?
Yes, once IZCHI has tracked the listing. IZCHI records the listing’s price each time it checks a tracked listing, and the product and tracker pages show those readings. Everyone sees the last 7 days; IZCHI Pro shows the full recorded history with 7-, 30- and 90-day views, the lowest and highest recorded prices, a time-weighted average and price insights. History starts when IZCHI first tracks a listing — for a listing nobody has tracked there is no history, and we say so rather than drawing a chart from data that does not exist.
What happens when my target price is reached?
You get an alert — an in-app notification and an email — and the tracker on your dashboard shows the listing as at or below your target, so you can open the marketplace listing and buy it. There is no automatic purchasing: IZCHI never bids, buys, or transacts on your behalf, and there are no plans for it to.

Marketplaces & data

Which marketplaces are supported?
eBay (official Browse API) and AliExpress (official Affiliate API) are connected today. AliExpress offers can be searched, opened and bought at AliExpress, but not price-tracked yet. Amazon and Walmart integrations are waiting on approval from each retailer and stay switched off until then — search shows them as “Not connected”, never as having no results. We do not call a retailer connected until it actually returns real products — see Retailer coverage.
How fresh are the prices I see?
Search results and product pages come from the marketplace when you open them; to avoid repeating the same request, IZCHI may reuse a result for up to a few minutes. Prices on your trackers come from IZCHI’s last automatic check, roughly hourly, and each tracker shows when it was last checked. Prices on a marketplace can change at any time, so always confirm the price on the listing itself before buying.
Do you scrape marketplaces?
No. All data comes from official marketplace APIs under their developer terms. That is also why coverage expands slowly: each new marketplace means a real integration and API access, not a scraper pointed at a page.

Plans & billing

What does the Free plan include?
Unlimited search, comparison and Buy Now at the retailer, up to 3 active trackers with automatic price checks, email and in-app price alerts, and the last 7 days of recorded price history. No credit card is required and there is no trial that expires. See Pricing for the full comparison.
Can I pay for Pro right now?
Not yet. Pro checkout is still being tested and is not open to the public, so nothing on the site can charge you. When it opens, Pro is $6.99 a month or $59.99 a year, paid through Stripe-hosted checkout — IZCHI never sees or stores your card. See the plan comparison.
What happens if I go over the Free tracker limit?
Nothing is deleted or hidden. Targets beyond the 3-active limit simply cannot be activated until you pause one — your recorded history stays intact either way. Search, comparison and Buy Now are never limited.
How do cancelling and refunds work for Pro?
Pro renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time from your Account page; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are exceptional and at our discretion, and a full refund of your current period ends Pro immediately; partial refunds do not. Details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. See also the Subscription Terms.

Privacy & account

What data do you collect?
Your account details (email, optional display name), the trackers you create, and — to order your Home feed — the shopping categories of searches and products you open, kept for up to 90 days and clearable in Account settings. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell your data. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Can I delete my account and everything in it?
Yes, from Account settings. Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your trackers, tracked listings, price history and notification history, and it cannot be undone. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first. A few records are kept for legal or security reasons (for example payment records at Stripe, without your email address), and backups expire on their own schedule; the Privacy Policy lists them.
How do I get help from a real person?
Email support@izchiapp.com or use the contact form, which drafts that email for you. There is no automated ticketing system — messages go to an inbox a person reads, and we aim to reply within 2 business days.
